ABOUT US
Damon G. Shadid is a Seattle based criminal defense trial attorney and immigration lawyer with over 10 years of experience. Damon believes that his clients deserve personal attention and strong representation from the lawyer that they hire to protect their rights. Damon has built strong relationships with courts throughout the Puget Sound area, and prosecutors know that he is not afraid to go to, and win at, trial.
Damon also works as a Judge Pro Tem in King County District Court. He has proven ability on the bench as well as off the bench.
In addition to his experience as a judge and attorney, Damon has been passionately involved in public service since before graduating law school in 1998. Damon has constantly given back to his community through community organizing and advocacy for groups that have been denied a voice in our society. This experience has spanned from working with battered women to a long involvement helping minority populations. Recently, Damon co-founded the Middle Eastern Legal Association of Washington, a minority bar association that is committed to advocacy for the Middle Eastern community in Washington, as well as helping and mentoring Middle Eastern attorneys.
